FSQ’s LP Debut for Soul Clap Records
Soul Clap Records presents ‘Reprise Tonight’, the debut long player from FSQ . Features guest appearances from funk royalty, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Nona Hendryx, Fonda Rae, Denise King, and Dolette McDonald. The album tells the story of a person who gets the opportunity to have one last party and how far they can push it in 24hrs!
FSQ was started by George Clintons nephew Sa'd 'The Hourchild' Ali, and
Chuck Da Fonk Fishman who met in the mid 90s as touring members of George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. Together with 8 times Grammy nominated G Koop, they became FSQ - a production team committed to creating original funk of supreme quality. Boston based guitar hero Chas Bronz, Philadelphia drummer One Era and New York audio engineer Morgan Wiley joined a few years later.
