FSQ brings Funkadelic to Kraak and Smaak

A year on from its initial release Kraak & Smaak ‘Pleasure Centre’ gets remixed. Gathering a cast of star-studded collaborators, the result is a bumper package to be savoured, including unreleased cuts plus a few that saw that light of day in 2020.

There are 27 remixes on this package and we thrilled to bring Kraak & Smaak an FSQ remix / dub version of their tune “I Think” which features Berenice Van Leer on vocals.

We were able to nab some studio time with Funkadelic originator, Billy Bass Nelson and get him to help us rework this fabulous slab of funk by Kraak & Smaak, led by Ms. Van Leer. You can read our recent tribute to legend Mr. Nelson right here.
