I am BAIFG - BUSY AS IT FUNKIN’ GETS. But I want you to hear from me, and our musical group FSQ (Funk Style Quality) so here’s as concise as I can be with the FUNK business and thank you for reading.

Why busy? One, I’m now the label manager over at Soul Clap Records, and that’s A LOT! I encourage you to go to the Soul Clap Records Bandcamp and hear all the new music from our new signed artists on the label curated by Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine of Soul Clap - including 2fox, Choosy Lover, Lyric Jones. I’m also keeping this 2024 Soul Clap Records Spotify release playlist up to date if you want to start there, but your support on Bandcamp is highly appreciated. Oh, and I’m managing fan community and social media for some of the most legendary legacy artists across pop, funk, and jazz genres. So it really is BAIFG hey let’s put a hash tag on it - #BAIFG

But you really came here for new FSQ - my musical group - I know it !! So here’s the latest new music from us.

In 2013, we made a one off Caribbean disco track that we didn’t really have a title for, so we of course callled it “This Is Caribbean Disco”. At the urging of our very own Sa’d “The Hourchild” Ali we sent off a bunch of FSQ original tracks to the disco mix inventor Tom Moulton. This is one of three tracks that he wanted to remix, with the other two being “Vibe Out Now” and “The Infinite Reprise” ; these latter two appearing on our 2022 album, “Reprise Reprise Tonight” which is a collection of remixes from the OG album “Reprise Tonight".

Thank you to Midnight Riot Records for releasing FSQ’s “This Is Caribbean Disco” (A Tom Moulton Mix) as part of your Balearic Headspace Volume 7 compilation album. This track was produced by FSQ with G Koop on most of the instrumentation from drums, guitars, to synths.
